E-commerce home goods retailer Wayfair will open a physical store in New York in early 2027, following the upcoming launch of its Wayfair Atlanta store next year.
“This location lets us serve everyone from Manhattan to Westchester and beyond with an inspiring, full-scale shopping experience that Wayfair is known for,” said Liza Lefkowski, Wayfair’s VP.
Located in Ridge Hill, which is owned by a joint venture partnership of North American Properties, Nuveen, and Taconic Partners, the 114sqft store will feature 19 categories, including furniture, decor, outdoor living, and home maintenance.
While offering a large in-store assortment of verified items from Wayfair’s family brands, including Wayfair Professional, AllModern, Wayfair, Birch Lane, Joss & Main, and Perigold.
“Over the past year, we’ve seen firsthand how a thoughtfully designed physical store can deepen engagement, drive growth, and introduce the Wayfair brand to entirely new audiences,” said Lefkowski.
This month, the brand reported light revenue growth in its first quarter, following its executives’ discussion at the Shoptalk Spring fair in March.
