Apparel brand Vuori has named former Fabletics exec Ashley Kechter as its new global president to support the company’s growth strategy.

The California-based company announced the appointment on LinkedIn earlier this week. However, Kechter’s LinkedIn profile suggests she has assumed the role since May.

Kechter was most recently global brand president of activewear label Fabletics. She previously held senior positions at Honey Birdette, Banana Republic, Gap Inc, and RH.

In addition, the brand has named Edward Lee as chief legal officer and corporate secretary. He was previously chief legal and compliance officer at RH.

“As we reach a critical 10-year milestone this year and look to the future, I’m confident in our ability to drive continued business growth as we thoughtfully expand Vuori’s footprint and establish deeper connectivity with consumers everywhere,” commented Vuori founder and CEO Joe Kudla.

“Ashley and Ed are perfectly positioned to help Vuori do just that, and I’m excited to see our brand’s evolution and growth under the incredible knowledge and expertise they bring to their respective roles.”

Founded in 2015, Vuori offers its products to customers in 18 countries through a network of physical stores and distributors. The company has about 80 stores in the US and five globally, with plans to exceed 100 stores by next year.

The brand secured an investment of $825 million led by General Atlantic and Stripes in November.
