Ugg makes Singapore retail return

The Australian sheepskin footwear brand Ugg, a 90’s-era icon, has returned to Singapore at Paragon shopping centre.

The new Ugg Singapore store follows a collaboration with Y/Project several months ago modelled by popular songstress Rihanna, revamping the brand’s image in the fashion arena.

Ugg is now offering an extended range of products, including velcro fleece-lined sneakers, slippers, and “Chewbacca” sandals at the Paragon store.

While Ugg boot is considered a generic term in Australia and New Zealand Ugg has been registered as a brand name by California-based Deckers Outdoor Corporation in more than 130 countries worldwide including the US, UK, Canada, the EU and China. Most of Ugg’s products are made in China.
