The rise of the anxious consumer

No other event has changed our behaviour as speedily nor as severely as Covid-19. Accenture has reported that 64 per cent of consumers fear for their health, and 82 per cent fear for others’ health. According to stats from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, 21 per cent of consumers are experiencing either high or very high levels of psychological distress. Covid-19 has injected fear into every part of our lives.  We have been collectively galvanised by the disruptive effects of Covid-19
