Mexican quick-service restaurant, Taco John’s, has opened its first metropolitan location in Boston with Reliance Hospitality Group.
In 2021, Reliance Hospitality Group’s co-founder and CEO Arsal Jaffery and co-founder Deven Jadav, signed a 22-unit development agreement with Taco John’s for the Boston and Connecticut area.
Following the latest Boston opening, another Taco John’s location is expected to open in the third quarter of this year, with the group actively selecting sites for its next five locations in the metro Boston area.
Taco John’s expansion is supported by the brand’s optimized business model and the Path to Ownership structure offered to assist franchisees in achieving sustainable growth.
The development team has also identified strong opportunities in the Upper Midwest, Rocky Mountain regions, and high-growth suburban markets across the country.
The company has reported an Average Sales Volume of $1.9 million for the top 25 per cent of freestanding restaurants with drive-thru.
“Deven and Arsal’s dedication and expertise have been instrumental in introducing Taco John’s to the East Coast,” said Shannon Iverson, VP of development at Taco John’s. “Their strategic approach and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences align perfectly with our brand’s growth vision.
“As Taco John’s expands our 50-plus-year legacy into more metropolitan spaces, their deep understanding of the restaurant industry and the local markets will continue to be essential.”
