Streetwear brand Avirex has opened its first US store in New York – along with two stores in London, UK.

The company opened a store at 21 Mercer Street in SoHo, New York, on September 15. The two stores in the UK are located at Berwick Street in Soho and at Eastcastle Street in Fitzrovia.

“Our authenticity and connection to the culture, premium leathers, unmistakable details, and strong style is what differentiates us from other luxury streetwear brands,” said Mia Dell’Osso-Caputo, creative director at Avirex. “We are the original, proudly designed and created in NYC for almost 50 years.”

This week, the company is launching its first women’s capsule collection, featuring the brand’s classic leather bomber-style jacket in a new cropped silhouette. This will be sold in a select group of New York tri-state area stores and the company’s digital flagship avirex.com.

In addition, the company said that it prioritizes collaboration with strategic brands as it expands its collection.
