Abercrombie & Fitch has secured a multi-year partnership with the National Football League to develop an athlete-inspired fashion range for NFL fans.

As the NFL’s official fashion sponsor, Abercrombie says it wants to redefine fan style by creating a joint collection that combines game-day and casual apparel for players and their supporters.

The company said the partnership aims to expand the league’s fan base, particularly among female fans who make up nearly half of the supporters, and to offer fashionable options to showcase their fandom.

“Naming Abercrombie & Fitch as an official sponsor creates deeper connections with our fans at the convergence of fandom and fashion, and celebrates our players’ dynamic style,” said Tracie Rodburg, senior VP of the NFL’s global partnerships.

CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, Fran Horowitz, said the NFL partnership is not only about licensing but about meeting ‘the needs of an expanding audience’ and fostering fandom through fashion.

“We’ve been working with the NFL and premier NFL athletes for several years, so officially becoming a league sponsor is a natural progression,” said Horowitz

Through the Abercrombie Style Concierge, a personalised and expert styling in-house service, Abercrombie will create outfits for select NFL athletes, including Fred Warner, Drake Maye, Cooper DeJean and Jake Ferguson.

Selected athletes in the Style Concierge collection will be featured in Abercrombie’s campaign and will participate in NFL flagship events within its retail locations worldwide.

Men’s and women’s apparel, including hoodies, t-shirts, and accessories for all 32 NFL teams, is now available at select Abercrombie stores and online.
