Irish fast-fashion retailer Primark will open its first location in Georgia on September 8 in Lawrenceville. It will be the company’s 47th US store.
Located at Sugarloaf Mills, the store will offer over 26,000sqft of retail space, showcasing Primark’s low-priced fashion.
The store’s inventory will include clothing, everyday essentials, and licensed merchandise for local sports teams such as the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Falcons.
Following the Sugarloaf Mills opening, Primark plans to expand further in Georgia, with a second location planned for Augusta.
Kevin Tulip, president of Primark US, said that the expansion aims to provide essential fashion items and current fashion trends to consumers in the metropolitan Atlanta area, responding to the growing demand for value-focused retail options.
The company is currently hiring staff for the upcoming Georgia locations through its hiring site.
“Our expansion into the state of Georgia is something we’re extremely excited about. We’re thrilled to bring the residents of Atlanta Primark’s signature everyday essentials at affordable prices,” said Tulip.
“We know that Primark’s offering of quality fashion at exceptional value is more important than ever to today’s consumers, and we’re looking forward to opening our doors and welcoming customers from Georgia’s capital,” he added.
In June, Primark announced plans to open two stores in the US, including its first location in Indiana.
