Primark has opened its US flagship store in Manhattan’s Herald Square, marking a milestone in the company’s American expansion strategy.
The store, located at 34th Street in New York City’s Penn District, spans more than 54,000sqft across four levels. The opening brings Primark’s New York footprint to 11 stores and its total US count to 40.
Designed to reflect the pace and culture of New York City, the flagship offers a full assortment of fashion, beauty, lifestyle and homeware products, with a focus on affordable pricing and trend-led collections.
“With a continued commitment to quality, innovation, sustainability, and fashion, we’re proud to open our doors in one of the most iconic locations in the world,” Primark said in a statement.
Primark also noted that it is continuing to expand its US presence with additional stores planned, including a location at Queens Center in New York and its first Texas store in McAllen.
The retailer currently has more than 450 stores across 17 countries.
