Encinitas-based sustainable footwear lifestyle brand Ponto has appointed Barry McGeough as new brand president, marking a milestone in its journey towards growth and sustainability.

As a Fortune 500 leader and brand builder in the footwear, apparel, and tech sectors, McGeough has focused on the advancement of new materials science and green-engineered solutions to enable product circularity and digitize consumer experience.

He previously led sustainable projects for international brands including The North Face, Speedo, Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger.
