PepsiCo has introduced Pepsi Prebiotic Cola, marking its first significant innovation in the traditional cola category in 20 years.

The new beverage offers the classic Pepsi taste with a modern twist, featuring functional prebiotic fiber to support gut health.

Available in Original Cola and Cherry Vanilla flavours, according to PepsiCo, each 350ml can contains five grams of cane sugar, 30 calories, no artificial sweeteners, and 3gm of prebiotic fiber.

“Pepsi Prebiotic Cola represents the next leap forward in giving consumers choice, optionality and functional ingredients in their cola experience, without sacrificing the iconic Pepsi taste we’re known for delivering,” said Ram Krishnan, CEO, PepsiCo Beverages US.

Pepsi Prebiotic Cola reflects a broader shift toward more mindful consumption, rounding out a portfolio that includes Pepsi Zero Sugar and Poppi, PepsiCo’s newly acquired, fast-growing prebiotic soda brand.

The new range will debut online in Fall this year, followed by nationwide retail availability in early next year. It will be sold in single cans and eight-packs, placed in the traditional soft drink aisle alongside Pepsi’s full lineup.
