A new Nordstrom Rack store is set to open in Morrisville, North Carolina in the spring of next year.

The new 25,000sqft store will be located at the Casto-owned Park West Village shopping center.

“We’re excited to grow our footprint in the Raleigh market and introduce new customers to the Nordstrom experience,” said Gemma Lionello, Nordstrom Rack president.

“This exciting addition aligns with our vision of Park West Village as a premier lifestyle hub where visitors can shop, stroll and experience it all,” said Shannon Dixon, Casto Southeast Realty Services EVP.

Nordstrom Rack is the off-price division of Nordstrom and offers up to 70 per cent off on-trend apparel, accessories, beauty products, home decor and shoes. The department store chain said that Nordstrom Rack is currently its largest source of new customers.

Currently, the chain operates two Nordstrom stores and two Nordstrom Rack stores in North Carolina.

In addition to the new Morrisville location, the company intends to open three additional Nordstrom Rack sites in Mooresville, Raleigh and Matthews this fall and next spring.
