Nike veteran Carl Grebert has retired after nearly 30 years, while the sports giant has named a new VP and GM for its APLA region.

Grebert’s Nike career, which began in 1997, spanned numerous global and geographic leadership roles. Before joining Nike, he worked in marketing and finance at Unilever and The Coca-Cola Company.

Cristin ‘Crissy’ Campbell has been appointed as VP and GM of APLA, bringing over 15 years of Nike experience to the role. Her leadership roles span across the business, including leading Jordan and Women’s arms.

The appointment is one of several important leadership changes taking place within the organization globally.

In Greater China, Angela Dong has stepped down from the role, with the newly appointed VP and GM being Cathy Sparks, who has spent 25 years at Nike.

With Grebert’s retirement, César Garcia will become Nike’s new VP/GM of EMEA, effective February 2.
