Daniel Roseberry, Schiaparelli’s creative director, has won the 2024 Neiman Marcus Award for Creative Impact in the Field of Fashion.

Roseberry earned the honour for his “innovation and craftsmanship” at Schiaparelli in combining art and fashion to express the brand’s surrealist and whimsical house codes via a modern viewpoint, according to the judges.

The Texas-born designer has captivated the attention of the fashion industry and the world’s important personalities, building on the heritage of originator Elsa Schiaparelli, who was recognised by Stanley Marcus in 1940.

“As Schiaparelli’s largest partner in the world, NMG is proud to have built a relationship rooted in a shared desire to champion the Maison’s extraordinary artistry for the American luxury customer,” said Geoffroy van Raemdonck, CEO of Neiman Marcus Group.

“Daniel’s distinct vision has ignited unprecedented momentum that has ushered in a new chapter for the storied brand, making him the perfect choice for the 2024 Creative Impact recipient.”

As a relationship-based business, the awards platform strengthens Neiman Marcus’ fashion authority while also embodying the company’s retail approach. The brand will work with Roseberry to launch an exclusive Schiaparelli expression later this year.

Since its beginning in 1938, the Neiman Marcus Awards have attempted to link fashion’s influential designers with the American luxury shopper. Last year, the luxury retailer announced the program’s comeback and expansion to complement its development plan, Revolutionising Luxury Experiences.
