New Era has opened its flagship store in New York’s SoHo neighborhood, on the corner of Houston and Lafayette streets.

According to the company, the store combines digital features with brand storytelling to offer an interactive retail experience.

A large street-facing screen displays product launches and campaigns, while a second screen sits above a central merchandise table. Near the entrance, a feature installation references Buffalo, New York, the brand’s birthplace.

Across the store, apparel, headwear, collaborations, and exclusive products are presented alongside a 15ft display table and a floor-to-ceiling wall showcasing around 50 cap styles.

Meanwhile, an education wall explains the brand’s different silhouettes and fits, supported by interactive tablets with multilingual content that guides customers through product variations.

The space also includes a customisation area, “The Garage”, where customers can personalise caps by selecting patches, fits, and crown styles.

“The space brings our brand to life, allowing us to connect directly with our consumers in an immersive and meaningful way,” said Chris Koch, CEO of New Era.

“From our roots in Buffalo to this global flagship in SoHo, New Era remains committed to honoring our heritage while continuing to influence and shape the future of headwear and style.”
