Nespresso has opened a flagship boutique in Manhattan’s Flatiron District, marking the company’s largest and most immersive retail location to date.
Located at 85 Fifth Avenue, the multi-level space spans approximately 13,900sqft and is part of Nespresso’s broader effort to reshape its retail presence around experiential shopping rather than traditional product sales channels.
According to the company, the New York location is the eighth flagship boutique globally and the first in North America to fully reflect the brand’s updated retail concept.
“Our Nespresso New York City Flagship is more than a boutique,” said Jason Webber, VP of sales, Nespresso USA.
“As the pinnacle of our retail strategy, it’s the first in North America to bring our vision to life, blending the elements of discovery and experience with a local NYC touch.”
The ground floor introduces the brand with coffee tastings, educational sessions, staff consultations, and a Coffee Theatre for small-group demonstrations.
Below street level, the boutique features the Hidden Cup Coffee Bar, offering specialty and experimental coffee and non-alcoholic drinks. The lower level also features a Nespresso Lounge, with seating areas, self-service machines, and displays showcasing the company’s restaurant and hotel equipment.
