Kroger has teamed up with Uber to launch 2700 of its grocery stores on the Uber Eats, Uber, and Postmates applications nationwide.

The rollout aims to provide more shopping choices and value to households, the company announced.

Uber’s apps now offer on-demand and same-day delivery of fresh groceries and household essentials from Kroger-owned stores nationwide.

“Customers’ needs evolve constantly, and at Kroger, we’re committed to meeting them with solutions that fit every moment with the understanding that what is convenient changes day-to-day,” said Jody Kalmbach at Kroger.

He said this integration allows the company to better serve customers with greater convenience, flexibility, and reliability.

“Making Kroger’s banners available across Uber’s apps gives shoppers a simple, reliable way to get their weekly groceries or last-minute items whenever they need them,” said Hashim Amin, Uber’s North American head of grocery and retail.
