Jollibee has opened its third Manhattan store at 14 East 42nd Street, between Fifth and Madison avenues.

The Filipino fast-food chain is growing its presence in the US through company-owned locations and a franchise program launched last year.

“Our goal is to introduce our brand to new customers while making it easier for existing fans across the city to access their favorite dishes,” said Beth Dela Cruz, business group head at Honeybee Foods Corporation (Jollibee’s operator and subsidiary in the US).

Jollibee’s menu focuses on comfort food, including its signature Chickenjoy fried chicken, Jolly Spaghetti with hot dog slices, Yumburgers, Palabok Fiesta noodles with shrimp sauce, and Peach Mango Pie.

Founded in 1975 by Tony Tan Caktiong, Jollibee Group operates more than 10,000 stores across 33 countries under brands including Jollibee, Chowking, Smashburger, and Tim Ho Wan.
