In Chicago, Impossible Foods opens its first foodservice experience concept

Plant-based food company Impossible Foods has opened “Impossible Quality Meats” – its first in-person foodservice concept – in Chicago, Illinois.

The pop-up expands on the company’s food service expansions, with more than 45,000 stores across the country now serving its portfolio of plant-based alt-beef, alt-pork, and alt-chicken.

Peter McGuinness, president and CEO of Impossible Foods, said it is natural for the brand to grow into dine-in experiences.

“Impossible began as a foodservice brand, launching our flagship beef product in 2016 with some of the best restaurants in America,” he continued.

“Choosing meat from plants shouldn’t feel like a compromise. It’s great-tasting food, plain and simple.”

The pop-up will be open throughout the fall of this year, serving various plant-based meals and frozen retail products.
