H&M is set to launch a collaboration with designer Stella McCartney, marking 20 years since their first partnership in November 2005.
The collection, to be launched in the northern hemisphere Spring next year, will feature responsible and recycled materials, reflecting McCartney’s ongoing commitment to sustainable fashion.
The first public glimpse of the collection was revealed at the Fashion Awards in London on December 1. Models and celebrities, including Amelia Gray, Anitta, Emily Ratajkowski, Yasmin Wijnaldum, Bel Priestley, Alton Mason, and Kiara Nirghin, appeared in pieces from the upcoming line.
McCartney described the collaboration as a chance to reflect on progress in sustainability, cruelty-free practices, and conscious design, while acknowledging the work that still lies ahead.
“Real change only happens when we push from both the outside and the inside, and I’ve always believed in infiltrating from within to move the industry forward,” she said.
The partnership also introduces an Insights Board, designed to drive discussion and innovation around sustainability and animal welfare in fashion. It aims to bring together voices from across the industry to explore new approaches to responsible design and industry change.
