Perfumery house Amouage is accelerating its global growth with its first flagship store in the US.
Located in the heart of The Avenue at American Dream, the space follows the inauguration of Amouage’s first flagship store in China, with other standalone boutiques set to open throughout Asia, Europe, and the Gulf Cooperation Council region by the end of the year.
The store’s design depicts a sunset in Oman against layers of craggy mountain peaks, as imagined by Amouage’s chief creative officer Renaud Salmon and created by Heroine Paris.
The facade is decorated with coloured veils pierced by concentric arches. The rocky lacework on the right side surrounds a giant screen that will display a seasonal digital art program curated by Amouage, and double as a place for performances and live events.
“Each Amouage flagship is unique. When establishing new landmarks worldwide, the unique characteristics of each location influence the type of stores we create,” said Marco Parsiegla, CEO of Amouage.
“Our geographically sensitive approach tailors the concept for each city, making every Amouage store globally distinctive. Each store is a gateway into the rich tapestry of Amouage’s sensorial world, creating an environment that sparks curiosity and fosters a desire to appreciate the intricacies of our House’s olfactory craftsmanship.”
The left side of the boutique is dedicated to Artist Perfumers’ ingredient selections. The contemporary new area houses Amouage’s whole line of Eaux de parfum, Extraits de parfum, and Attars. Visitors can even create their Gift of Kings pick, selecting from hundreds of fragrance and leather case options.
