French Connection has partnered with G-III Apparel Group to develop and distribute its products across North America.
Effective February, the agreement aims to broaden the brand’s reach under owner MIP Holdings, which acquired the company in 2021.
“Since the takeover, we have focused on rebuilding French Connection and setting it up for sustainable, long-term growth,” said Apinder Singh Ghura, chair of French Connection Group.
Under the agreement, G-III will leverage its design, sourcing and distribution capabilities, as well as its established retail relationships in the region.
“Strategic licensing is a core part of our growth approach,” said Morris Goldfarb, chairman and CEO of G-III Apparel Group.
“This partnership draws on our infrastructure and operational strengths to bring French Connection to more consumers.”
Founded in 1972, French Connection is a London-based company that offers apparel and accessories. It operates in more than 200 locations worldwide.
