Foot Locker-owned brand Champs Sports has launched its Reimagined retail concept in Tampa and Portland, aiming to deliver a “more immersive and modern” in-store experience.

The redesigned stores feature a clean, sport-inspired layout with enhanced digital displays and expanded assortments across footwear, apparel, and accessories. The concept is built around Champs’ ‘Sport For Life’ brand platform and is designed to connect sport and lifestyle for consumers.

“The Reimagined store concept redefines what the Champs Sports in-store shopping experience can be, enhancing every step of the customer journey,” said Tony Aversa, senior VP and GM of Champs Sports.

“Tampa and Portland are dynamic markets, making them ideal locations to unveil a new store experience that reflects our brand ethos.”

Key updates include a dedicated Run Club zone, upgraded fitting areas, 3D scanning tools for precise fit, and a family-focused layout with assortments for women and kids. Associates are also equipped with new tools to enhance service and expedite checkout.

The debut of Champs Sports’ Reimagined concept is part of Foot Locker’s Lace Up Plan to “power up the portfolio”, following the eight Foot Locker Reimagined store launches across North America, Europe, and Asia.

The brand also intends to roll out the new format to additional locations in the coming months.
