Kate Hudson’s activewear brand Fabletics plans to open 25 US stores and about 20 internationally as it targets $2 billion in annual revenue within five years.
The retailer currently operates 137 stores worldwide, including 126 in the US. It plans to triple its international store count this year, with new markets including India, the UAE, Colombia, Peru, and Central America.
Fabletics said the rollout represents the “next phase of Fabletics’ global expansion strategy” as it also looks to build on the performance of its local retail business.
“Retail has become an increasingly important growth driver for our business,” said Adam Goldenberg, co-founder and CEO of Fabletics.
“As our retail model continues to deliver strong results in the US, we’re confident it can scale globally.”
The expansion follows three consecutive years of double-digit same-store sales growth. Sales increased 14 per cent in 2024, more than 18 per cent in the last year, and are up more than 20 per cent so far this year.
“As we enter new countries and scale our business, we’re focused on entering the right markets, leveraging local expertise and tailoring our approach to meet the unique needs of each region.”
Alongside its own stores, Fabletics operates a wholesale business with retailers including Nordstrom and Von Maur in the US, KaDeWe and Peek & Cloppenburg in Germany, Next in the UK, and Liverpool in Mexico. The brand also supplies select fitness studios and gyms, including Hotworx.
