Target has formed a strategic agreement with American sportswear retailer Champion to launch an activewear and sporting goods range for adults and children.
The collection offers more than 500 pieces inspired by Champion’s athletic background. According to the brands, it includes on-trend colors, quality fabrics, one-of-a-kind washes, intricate trims, and a Champion logo. The Champion collection for Target features a mix of modern, classic, and retro aspects, with most products priced under $40.
“When you combine Champion’s legacy in sportswear with Target’s style authority, the result is something special,” said Rick Gomez, executive VP and chief commercial officer, Target.
“We know our consumers love new and differentiated items, and this partnership is all about merging sport, style and culture in a relevant way that resonates with them. I can’t wait for everyone to experience this on-trend, high-quality and irresistibly affordable assortment with styles only at Target.”
The cooperation with Champion is the latest in a series of collaborations with top companies, including Apple, Disney, Kendra Scott, Levi’s, and Ulta.
The first Champion collection for Target will be available at Target stores and online beginning in August, with a collection for women and men following in September.
Last year, Harley Davidson and Champion collaborated on a limited-edition capsule that combines athletic comfort with heritage moto design.
