Brooks Running witnessed record quarterly revenue after sales soared 15 per cent in the second quarter, thanks to double-digit growth in both its wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels.

The brand said that its North America revenue rose 19 per cent due to the continued success of Glycerin 21 franchise, Ghost Max, along with a strong Ghost 16 introduction.

Brooks Running boasts of maintaining the top market share in the adult performance running footwear market at US national retail for the 10th consecutive quarter.

It also kept the number one spot in the US specialty footwear retail segment through the first half.

Moreover, the company saw its revenue in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region grow by 4 per cent. In France and Germany, revenue climbed 12 per cent and 10 per cent, respectively.

Earlier this month, Brooks Running launched a retail store in Shanghai, its first in Mainland China. The company eyes to open a second Shanghai location later this year.

Meanwhile, MD of Brooks International Matt Dodge has been appointed president and COO, effective August 1.

Dodge’s appointment follows the transition of Dan Sheridan, former VP, to the CEO role.
