Bed Bath & Beyond is continuing is acquisition spree, this time expanding its home services unit through the purchase of Installed Right and SFV Services.

Installed Right provides installation services for products including closets, flooring, cabinetry, lighting, shelving, and garage organisation systems across residential and commercial projects.

SFV Services specialises in renovation, construction, demolition, facilities management, and project execution services.

Both companies were founded by Mitch Rosen in 2016.

BB&B executive chairman and CEO Marcus Lemonis said the acquisitions build on the company’s experience working with home improvement brands, including Lumber Liquidators and Cabinets To Go.

“Their experience executing store remodels, fixture installations, and retail construction projects also supports our capital-light store conversion strategy, providing additional expertise as we continue expanding and refining our physical footprint,” Lemonis said.

Under the deal, Bed Bath & Beyond will acquire Installed Right and SFV Services in an all-stock transaction, issuing approximately 7.2 million shares.

By accepting stock as consideration, the Rosen family will become shareholders in Bed Bath & Beyond and participate in the future growth of Beyond Home Services.

“We look forward not only to expanding the business through organic growth, but also to extending these capabilities across Elfa and Closet Works,” Lemonis added.

“The home services market remains highly fragmented, and we believe there is a significant opportunity to continue consolidating complementary businesses under the Beyond Home Services banner.”

The transaction is expected to close by the end of this month.
