American Dairy Queen Corporation has named Gregg Benvenuto as VP of franchise development in the US and Canada as it sets its sights on significant network expansion.

Before joining the International Dairy Queen subsidiary, Benvenuto held key leadership positions at Dine Brands, Papa Murphy’s, and The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

“Gregg brings impressive franchise development leadership in the restaurant industry in roles of increasing responsibility,” Dan Kropp, American Dairy Queen Corporation COO of US and Canada, said.

“His contributions will help us grow DQ restaurants in key markets to ensure we are ubiquitous in every state and every province.”

International Dairy Queen is a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway and develops, licenses and services a system of more than 7000 restaurants in 20 countries.
