Jimmy Gabriel has been appointed as president and chief brand officer of footwear retailer Aerosoles.

Gabriel started his career with Wohl Shoe Company before moving to Nine West Group, where he took the VP role at Enzo Angiolini.

He then moved to Jimlar Corporation, where he was part of leading the expansion of its brands under a licensing agreement with Coach and Calvin Klein.

Gabriel also served as president of footwear at Aquatalia.

“With nearly 50 years of experience, his proven expertise and visionary leadership make him the ideal person to lead the brand,” said Alen Mamrout, CEO of American Exchange Group, the parent company of Aerosoles.

“Jimmy’s deep industry knowledge and ability to transform brands will be invaluable as we continue to build on Aerosoles’ legacy of innovation and growth.”
