Sports brand Volcom, owned by Authentic Brands Group, has partnered with French eyewear and protection specialist Loubsol to introduce its first collection of eyewear and protective headgear across Europe.

Under the agreement, Loubsol will design, manufacture, and distribute the Volcom-branded lineup, including sunglasses, optical eyewear, sports goggles, accessories, and protective helmets for men, women, and children.

Hay-Won Byun, VP at Authentic Brands, said that combining Loubsol’s technical alpine expertise and manufacturing standards with Volcom’s unique identity creates a compelling and specialised offering for European consumers.

“Designed in the heart of the French Alps, this collection merges our alpine technical knowledge with Volcom’s creative heritage, resulting in high-performance, style-driven products that remain true to the brand’s ethos,” said Daniel Eros, MD of Loubsol.

The collections will blend Loubsol’s technical alpine expertise with Volcom’s boardsports culture.

The first Volcom eyewear collection will launch in spring next year, followed by snow goggles and helmets in the following season.

Last month, Authentic Brands acquired a majority stake in the intellectual property of Ovo, the lifestyle brand co-founded by musician Drake, as it looks to accelerate the label’s global expansion.
