Krispy Kreme has expanded its executive leadership team with the appointments of Suk Nicholas as chief commercial officer (CCO) and Lori Suess as chief people officer (CPO).

In her role as CCO, Nicholas oversees global commercial strategy, revenue growth, marketing, and digital innovation.

Nicolas joins Krispy Kreme after a tenure of over six years at Yum Brands, where she held various executive leadership roles, including CFO of Pizza Hut UK and CCO of KFC UK & Ireland.

Before her time at Yum Brands, she spent more than 10 years at PepsiCo leading commercial and financial planning.

As the company’s new CPO, Suess leads Krispy Kreme’s global human resources strategy, talent acquisition, organizational development, and workplace culture initiatives.

Bringing over 20 years of human resources leadership experience, Suess has spent the past seven years at Mondelez International as SVP of global people and culture. She also previously held senior HR leadership roles at Kraft Foods and Target.

Both executives report directly to Krispy Kreme CEO Josh Charlesworth, as the company continues to execute its global expansion strategy and enhance its fresh doughnut delivery model across key markets.

“These promotions reflect our commitment to developing talent from within and strengthening the leadership team as we continue executing our strategy to drive sustainable, profitable growth,” said Charlesworth.

Last year, the company reported an 8.6 per cent dip in revenues as it continued to execute its turnaround strategy.
