A new chapter: FoundRae opens ‘library themed’ flagship

FoundRae has opened its first international flagship store on Mount Street in London’s Mayfair.

The company said it selected Mount Street for its blend of heritage and luxury which defines its jewelry collections.

A bespoke double-cherry emblem welcomes customers at the entrance, with the motif spread out throughout the interiors.

Designed to resemble a library, the boutique displays jewellery alongside books, which the brand says reinforces its storytelling approach.

The flagship also features an on-site studio with a bench jeweler and hand engraver, dedicated rooms for the brand’s Vertu home collection, and an exclusive Mount Street medallion set with cabochon-cut garnets and pavé diamonds, available only at the London location.

Founder and creative director Beth Hutchens said books have long been central to FoundRae’s identity and inspired the concept behind the new store.

“I also see the role of a library as sharing, preserving, and protecting history, which is a great metaphor for what the FoundRae collection does,” Hutchens said.

“We illuminate the personal stories people create, we empower them to be authors of their own story, and the pieces we create preserve that history.”
