Kim Kardashian has opened the first Skims flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York City.

The 6570sqft three-storey store is Skims’ sixth store and its largest yet, offering underwear, loungewear, and shapewear.

The store features a minimalist yet artistic design, with a 15-foot nude sculpture by Vanessa Beecroft standing at the entrance.

“From the brand’s inception, we envisioned physical stores as an integral part of our business model,” said Jens Grede, Skims co-founder and CEO.

“The success of our pop-ups and partnerships with trusted retail partners allowed us to refine our approach and learn what truly resonated with our customers.”

Kardashian and Grede co-founded Skims in 2019, starting with an online store and later opening physical locations in the US.

In a report by Stupid Dope, Grede said that Skims eyes to boost its inventory in Europe and the Middle East amid a large share of interest for the brand in these regions.
