Coach Singapore introduces first concept store

Coach Singapore has unveiled its first concept store dubbed ‘Tomorrow’s Vintage’, in celebration of the brand’s 80th anniversary.

Located in a small shophouse at 1 Teck Lim Road, the new store features bright yellow facade and interior with neon fixtures.

Paying homage to Coach’s history, the concept store displays vintage elements such as worn-out tiled floors, wooden interiors, and an old television showing films featuring Coach’s leather restoration specialist Debi the Restorer. Visitors can also find a selection of vinyl records from Brooklyn-based label Big Crown Records.

Tomorrow’s Vintage houses a collection of Coach’s archival bag designs, including the Ergo and the Cashin designed by Bonnie Cashin.

Craftsmen trained by Mauricio, Coach’s master craftsman in New York City, will be available to provide leather cleaning, monogramming, and other customisation services. Customers can also have their bags customised by local artist Tiffany Lovage and professional embroiderer Zoey Wong.

Marking the launch, Coach Singapore has introduced a mobile game called ‘Tikam Tikam’ for people visiting the concept store. Tomorrow’s Vintage will open its doors to the public until September 12.
