Southeast Asian retail group Valiram has appointed four executives, including leaders for its regional outposts in Thailand and Indonesia.
Linda Lim and Kunal Kapoor (pictured top) have been named as country GMs in Thailand and Indonesia respectively. Warodom Pranbunpook will become GM of the retail group’s newly created sports division, while Jason Blejwas joins as group-level senior VP of merchandising and planning.
Linda Lim has extensive experience in luxury retail in both downtown and travel-retail formats. She spent years in Valiram’s travel retail division, managing the beauty and fragrances category as well as fashion brands. She previously headed Malaysian operations for Coach and Shanghai Tang.
Kunal Kapoor has management experience and top- and bottom-line responsibility in key retail companies operating mainly in the Middle East. He joined Valiram in December 2019 as GM of the group’s travel-retail division.
In their new roles, Lim and Kapoor will focus on growing their respective markets further and driving financial performance.
After joining Valiram last year, Warodom Pranbunpook will oversee the expansion and development of the sports division as GM of Sports.
In the meantime, as senior VP merchandising and planning, Jason Blejwas will oversee the planning and execution of group-wide merchandising strategies. He will be based at Valiram’s headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
