Ulta Beauty has launched its first flagship store at Antara Fashion Hall in Mexico, marking the brand’s entry into the Mexican market.
Located at Antara Fashion Hall, Ulta Beauty’s first store in partnership with Axo, a Mexican distributor, will host a private opening on September 18.
Ulta’s stores, including Galerías Metepec’s store, launched last week, will offer the brand’s signature range of exclusive products and immersive experiences.
“Entering Mexico represents a bold and exciting step for Ulta Beauty as we bring our unparalleled assortment and inclusive shopping experience to beauty lovers in this significant international market,” said Kecia Steelman, Ulta Beauty’s president and CEO.
The first Mexican stores will feature 35 beauty brands from international manufacturers, including Isima by Shakira, Peach & Lily, Orebella, Morphe, and Bubble – alongside offerings from local brands such as Ahal, AloeVida, and Bailando Juntos by Yuya.
“We are proud to partner with Ulta Beauty to bring their one-of-a-kind retail experience to our market. Together, we look forward to inspiring guests with a fresh vision of beauty, powered by community, service, and innovation,” said Andrés Gómez, Grupo Axo’s CEO and chairman.
As part of the brand’s international expansion, Ulta Beauty Mexico plans to open several stores across the country this year, including the State of Mexico, León and Guadalajara.
Last week, Ulta Beauty posted “beautiful” Q2 results, bolstered by the acquisition of British beauty retailer Space NK.
