Smoothie King has secured a multi-unit development agreement to open 15 new stores in Dallas-Fort Worth.
The expansion is in collaboration with multi-unit franchisee Mohammed Azaz of HIBA-SK, which also purchased six existing Smoothie King locations in the autumn of last year.
The announcement builds on Smoothie King’s recent development growth, with the company on track to launch 100 outlets by the end of the year. Since the beginning of the year, the company has added 71 new outlets to its pipeline.
“We welcomed Mohammad to the Smoothie King family last year and we’re privileged that he’ll be expanding his presence with our brand through multiple new store builds,” said Chris Bremer, chief development officer at Smoothie King.
“We’re always looking to partner with experienced franchisees that are not only eager to grow but also passionate about making a positive impact in their community.”
The Dallas-based franchise company founded in 1973 currently has more than 1350 locations worldwide, including in the US, Korea, Grand Cayman, and Trinidad.
