Suzanne Silverstein has been named CEO of Western Glove Works, the Canadian parent company of Jag Jeans and Silver Jeans Co.
She is described as an experienced “apparel leader” who will head up the business operations, directing growth strategies, driving profitability, marketing and finance, product innovation and overseeing sales.
Former CEO and founder Michael Silver – who has now joined the newly formed advisory board of directors – said Silverstein “brings an enormous wealth of experience and success in her career” and will enhance the brand in their growth and prosperity for the future.
Of her appointment, Silverstein said she is “thrilled” to join the company and added there is “an incredible brand story” alongside a talented team and passion for perfection with the product.
Founded in 1921, Western Glove Works is a family-owned producer of denim in North America. It has created denim products for some of the industry’s biggest names including Calvin Klein, Gap, Wrangler and Anna Sui.
