Nike is extending its partnership with the National Football League for another 10 years, with the two focusing on the development and growth of the sport.

NFL and Nike have partnered since 2012, and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell expressed confidence in Nike’s continued contribution to the league’s success.

“In addition to their products and services for our clubs, players, or fans, Nike is a strategic partner who will help us grow football internationally, support youth football, and advance in player safety,” he continued.

He said the renewal of the partnership will have a lasting impact on the game of football at all levels.

In the US, initiatives in this collaboration include expanding the sport’s fan base, addressing player health and safety through Nike’s sports research lab, and empowering the next generation of athletes via school development programs.

Nike will be the exclusive provider of uniforms as well as sideline, practice, and baselayer apparel for all 32 NFL teams.

Elliot Hill, president and CEO of Nike, said the partnership renewal is a testament to the brand’s commitment to fueling the league’s initiatives.

“We’re committed to co-creating cutting-edge solutions that meet the rapidly changing needs of NFL athletes and fans,” remarked Hill.
