Restoration Hardware (RH) has opened RH Montecito, The Gallery at The Old Firehouse, transforming the historic 1931 building in Montecito, California.

The reimagined space features The RH Firehouse Grill, a wine & barista bar and an indoor-outdoor courtyard restaurant, as well as an interior design atelier.

The firehouse retains its original Mediterranean Revival design while integrating modern elements such as glass-and-steel doors, reclaimed oak beams, and curated RH collections alongside rare art and artifacts.

Visitors can enjoy global wines and Mediterranean-inspired dishes like whole grilled branzino at The RH Firehouse Grill, with dining spaces extending into a lush garden.

Meanwhile, the upper level features RH Interior Design, offering clients professional design services and a private presentation room.

“We have long admired this iconic building and its rich history,” said RH chairman & CEO Gary Friedman.

“With great respect for the original architecture, we are reestablishing its relevance by harmoniously incorporating aspirational interior and exterior installations with an integrated hospitality concept, unlike anything in retail.”

Last year, the company’s net revenues decreased to $3 billion while its net income fell to 127.5 million.
