Papa John’s COO departs for undisclosed rival

COO Amanda Clark will depart Papa John’s on March 1 to become CEO of another franchise company.

Clark began working as Papa John’s chief development officer in February 2020. In May 2022, her responsibilities grew to include directing Papa John’s international company, and she was appointed COO of international last September. 

According to the business, under her leadership, Papa John’s produced more than 700 net new units and inked the two largest development deals in the company’s history.

“We have created a culture at Papa John’s where we cultivate top talent and help them achieve their full potential. We wish Amanda much success in her new role,” said president and CEO Rob Lynch. 

“We have a strong international leadership team in place and talent within that organization who will continue to deliver on our business priorities while we conduct a comprehensive search that will evaluate both internal and external candidates for the next international leader.”

The corporation has yet to announce their replacement for the position. 

Papa John’s opened its doors in 1984 and now has more than 5900 outlets in 50 countries and territories.
