Flash-sale concept OnTheList chalks up its third anniversary at the end of this month.
In just three years, the Hong Kong-headquartered business has expanded into a second market – Singapore – and opened its own permanent flash-sale retail location in Central. It has also launched online sales.
Co-founders Diego Dultzin and Delphine Lefay have been named among the Top 50 Innovative Retail Leaders in Hong Kong by Inside Retail Asia for two years running for their approach to helping brands shift excess and end-of-season stock without adversely impacting the value of their core products or turning flagship boutiques into short-term discount stores.
“Every new idea looks crazy at first,” explains Dultzin. “Don’t be afraid of taking a risk and testing an idea out.”
Since its launch in 2016, OnTheList has helped more than 350 brands move stock through its online or offline channels. The most recent prestigious and luxury brand customers to join the platform include Burberry, Samsonite and Furla.
OnTheList has now has cleared more than 1 million items for its brand-name customers and built a membership database exceeding 165,000.
“OnTheList is looking forward to many new adventures and pushing forward with key developments, as well as raising awareness of sustainability in the fashion and retail scene worldwide,” says Dultzin, commenting on the company’s future outlook.
“We have great ambitions to grow further in Asia for both in-store and online flash sales.”
