Hermès has opened its first store in Arizona, selecting Scottsdale Fashion Square for its state debut.

The two-story boutique marks the French luxury house’s 42nd store in the US, reinforcing its continued retail expansion across key domestic markets.

Designed by the Paris-based architecture firm RDAI, the store draws inspiration from the surrounding Sonoran Desert. The design incorporates regionally inspired materials and a desert-hued palette, such as think sun-faded pastels, ochre stone, and cactus-shaped design motifs.

The ground floor features women’s ready-to-wear, footwear, and a dedicated shoe salon, while the upper level showcases leather goods, watches, jewelry, and menswear.

Art is integrated throughout the space, with curated pieces from the Emile Hermès collection and the Hermès Collection of Contemporary Photographs. Notable works include those by Antoine de La Boulaye and Jane Evelyn Atwood.

With the opening in Scottsdale, Hermès continues its strategy of expanding physical retail in US markets, part of a broader shift among luxury brands toward growing their presence in secondary cities beyond the traditional coastal strongholds.
