Crate & Kids has launched a limited-edition collaboration with Converse, marking its first partnership with a fashion brand and Converse’s first entry into kids furniture.
The 80-piece collection features the footwear brand’s sporting heritage in bedroom and playroom interiors, drawing heavily on vintage basketball courts and classic Americana design codes.
The range reimagines the spirit of the Chuck Taylor sneaker through functional pieces designed for modern family living, encouraging kids to embrace self-expression through personalised offerings in a variety of fonts and colours.
The designs reference key Converse elements, including red cord accents and vent-style eyelets, and feature heritage hues and tactile finishes that balance playfulness with durability.
“By blending Converse’s cultural legacy with our expertise in quality design, we created a timeless and playful collection true to both brands,” said Alicia Waters, brand president, Crate & Barrel and Crate & Kids.
“We both share a deep respect for heritage and self-expression, which shines through in the heirloom-quality pieces.”
The Converse for Crate & Kids collection is available to shop online at Crate & Barrel’s website and iOS app.
Founded in 1962, Crate & Barrel Holdings currently operates over 100 Crate & Barrel, CB2, and Hudson Grace stores throughout the US and Canada, with franchise locations in nine countries.
