CEC Entertainment has appointed Scott Drake as president and CEO, effective February 13.
Drake, who joined the company as CFO in 2024, succeeds David McKillips, who is stepping down after six years with the organization.
CEC Entertainment is the parent company of the Chuck E Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza restaurant chains.
Drake has prior leadership experience at Farmer Brothers Coffee Co, GameStop, and 7-Eleven.
Under his leadership, the company plans to continue its domestic and international expansion, including the debut of Chuck E Cheese in the UK.
“Under Scott’s financial leadership, CEC strengthened its balance sheet, refinanced its capital structure and delivered growth through key strategic initiatives, and today, the company is in an enviable position among its competitors,” said Joshua Acheatel, CEC chairman.
CEC Entertainment is set to expand its domestic footprint by opening more Chuck E Cheese Adventure World locations and resort-based Chuck’s Arcades.
