More luxury brands are opening boutiques at the redeveloped South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California.

Balmain debuted its flagship at South Coast Plaza late last year while Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani designed his namesake store, which is also now open.

The brand is also reimagining the coffee bar adjacent to the new boutique as Armani/Caffe, with new design, menu, and furnishings to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

In addition, Maison Margiela, Marni, and Jil Sander have opened on the lower level of the Saks Wing at South Coast Plaza.

Moving forward, Alaia, Amiri, Mejuri, and Santa Maria Novella are set to open stores along with Courrèges.

Cartier and Bulgari will also open expanded Jewel Court boutiques while Gucci will unveil a 19,000sqft two-level flagship store this spring.

Gucci will be adjacent to the Balenciaga flagship, the largest Balenciaga store in the Americas, which debuted last year.

Moreover, the public is expected to see a redesigned and expanded Harry Winston boutique and a new Dior men’s store adjacent to its flagship boutique later this year.

Chloé and Baccarat are among the brands reimagining their existing boutiques, while Palm Angels will join the Din Tai Fung wing early this year.
