Apple has reported double-digit sales growth in the fourth quarter, as the new iPhone lineup attracted more demand and lifted results.

Revenue for the quarter ended September 26 soared 12 per cent to $114.5 billion, with a gross margin of 47.9 per cent.

Apple’s iPhone led the growth with sales up 17 per cent to $57.58 billion, a September quarter record, thanks to early demand for the iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, as well as higher prices.

Services sales also reached an all-time high, growing 9.7 per cent to $31.5 billion.

By geography, sales rose 6.1 per cent in the Americas, 11.4 per cent in Europe, 21 per cent in Greater China, and 15 per cent in the rest of Apac, excluding Japan, where sales fell by 1.5 per cent.

On the bottom line, net income increased from $27.4 billion a year ago to $30.7 billion.

“Our record September quarter capped off a strong fiscal 2026, with all-time record revenue of $479 billion,” said Kevan Parekh, Apple’s CFO.

“Thanks to our very high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty, our installed base of active devices reached a new all-time high across all major product categories and geographic segments.”

Despite the strong results, the company’s shares slid 2 per cent on Monday after management outlined a weaker outlook, with gross margin expected to fall to 45-46 per cent in the quarter ending in December amid rising memory chip costs.
