Footwear retailer Crocs said that its EVP and president of Crocs brand Michelle Poole has decided to retire.

The company has promoted EVP and CFO Anne Mehlman to EVP and president of the brand, succeeding Poole, who will remain in her current position until early May to facilitate the transition. She will then serve in an advisory capacity until early next year.

Mehlman will also continue serving as CFO until the company names a successor.

“Anne has been an important thought partner over the past five years in her current capacity as CFO and I have no doubt that her strategic abilities, commercial acumen, and deep knowledge of the Crocs Brand will set us up well for our next chapter of growth,” said Crocs CEO Andrew Rees.

Mehlman previously served as VP of corporate finance at Crocs and as CFO at Zappos.com. She also held financial roles at RSC Equipment Rental, Corporate Express, and Lockheed Martin.
