Discount retail chain Ross Stores has opened 27 stores, including 18 Ross Dress for Less and nine DD’s Discounts locations, across 14 states in June and July.

The venues are part of the company’s plan to open approximately 100 new stores in fiscal year 2023.

“These recent openings reflect our ongoing plans to continue building our presence in both existing and newer markets,” said Gregg McGillis, group executive VP, property development.

“We remain confident in our ability to grow to at least 2900 Ross Dress for Less and 700 DD’s Discounts locations over time.”

Ross Stores currently operates 2061 locations, including 1722 Ross Dress for Less stores and 339 DD’s Discounts, in 41 states, along with DC and Guam.

Ross Dress for Less is an off-price apparel and home fashion chain, while DD’s Discounts offers a moderately-priced collection of name-brand clothing, accessories, and footwear.
