Denim jeans retailer Lee has partnered with Chinese streetwear brand Roaringwild to launch the first unisex casualwear range.
The two companies collaborated to produce a global unisex capsule highlighting the connection between music and culture through streetwear. The brands say this collection combines Lee’s denim forms with Roaringwild’s vitality to present boundary-pushing designs that reference Lee’s legacy while featuring youthful, original designs.
“This collection is a big step for Lee as it is our first fully unisex collection and one that’s available globally,” said Brigid Stevens, global VP of marketing, Lee.
“Lee has been in Asian markets for nearly 30 years and is the leader in denim in China. Roaringwild is one of the biggest streetwear brands there; we’re proud to be their first denim collaboration and showcase this unique vision to our consumers around the globe.”
The capsule is inspired by the nostalgia of 1980s art, electronic music, and the club scene, and it includes graphic tees, denim jackets, and oversized trousers.
The Lee x Roaringwild collection is available via Lee’s websites and owned stores in the US and Europe, as well as Lee’s China-owned stores and its Tmall and Red platforms. It is also accessible in Roaringwild-owned stores and websites in China and a few other countries.
